APPNA Ontario Formation and History
APPNA Ontario is a recognized chapter of the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA), established to advance its mission of professional excellence, education, and service within Ontario and across regions of Canada not currently served by a local APPNA chapter.
Founded by physicians of Pakistani origin practicing in Canada, the chapter fosters collaboration, supports professional development, and contributes to both the medical community and society at large. It operates as a not-for-profit, non-political professional organization, grounded in the principles of education, community engagement, and service.
As part of the broader APPNA network, APPNA Ontario upholds its core values while addressing the unique needs and aspirations of physicians and trainees in Canada.
